Meet rusty
"Happiness is having a dog!" And our Rusty will bring such joy to his new family! He is four years old and weighs 50 pounds. If you are looking for a medium sized companion, Rusty could be the one!
Why we love him: Rusty adores being around people and is such great company! He is truly our golden boy! One of our volunteers says Rusty is a love bug!
Rusty is a loyal walking companion who enjoys being close by your side. He loves to explore the trails on our beautiful shelter grounds.
Outings in the fenced yard are one of Rusty's favorite ways to spend the day. Once he is done, he is ready to hang out with you for quality cuddle time and to enjoy some time together.
Lucky Rusty had an outing with one of our dedicated volunteers who reports: "Rusty experienced the Harpeth River and he fell in love just like all of Cheatham County. He is dog friendly and river friendly. Rusty did a great job riding in the car. He was eagerly looking out the window wondering where he was headed next!"
Rusty also represented to shelter at an offsite adoption event and was loved by everyone he met!
Rusty wants to please and should master any commands you want to teach him.
He will be such a loyal family dog and a great companion on all your adventures!
E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information!
Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We are so grateful to John Taylor for his exceptional photos of our dogs!
