Ahoy there! If you've been fishing around for the perfect pup, cast your net toward Starfish. She's truly as affectionate as they come!

Starfish lives for cuddles, and is happiest simply being with her people. She'll curl up beside you on the couch or in bed, and if you stop petting her too soon, she'll gently nudge your hand as a polite reminder that the cuddle session isn't over just yet. Every reunion is the highlight of her day, even if you only stepped out to grab the mail! She celebrates with her signature "happy feet," doing the cutest tippy taps and joyful little hops that are guaranteed to make you smile.

This goofy girl is up for just about anything, as long as she gets to do it with you. Starfish always excited for a walk, enjoys relaxing car rides, loves playing fetch and collecting tennis balls like treasures from the deep, and takes her squeaky toy "rescues" very seriously (stuffing beware—she has an undefeated record when it comes to finding the squeaker). And when it's all done, peanut butter, naps, and even binge-watching Glee all rank among some of her other favorite hobbies.

Starfish already knows "sit" and "come," has wonderful manners, and has earned glowing reviews from her foster, who calls her "the most gentle, sweet dog I've ever met." Starfish would also especially love a home with a flexible schedule while she continues building confidence spending time on her own—but with a face this cute and a heart this big, you may find you don't want to leave her either!

Because of her bad knees, she sometimes appreciates a little boost onto the couch or bed, and she'll reward your kindness by snuggling as close as she possibly can. She's currently on medications to help keep her legs comfy and she will go home with a THREE MONTH SUPPLY CARE PACKAGE of those medications.
