🩵 This adorable girl is almost 5 months old and has everything you could want in a puppy—she’s smart, silly, affectionate, playful, and absolutely bursting with personality!
Ricotta is doing amazing in her foster home. She sleeps through the night in her kennel, keeps it clean, and is nearly finished with potty training. When she needs to go, she’ll bark or make a run for the door. Smart girl! 👏
She’s done wonderfully with other dogs and cats and loves being around her people. Ricotta is always ready for an adventure, especially if it involves a car ride, but she’s equally happy collecting belly rubs and her all-time favorite… butt scratches! 😂

Ricotta’s DNA testing showed a mix of several breeds, including Akita and Chow Chow. Because we want to set her up for lifelong success, she does have some specific adoption requirements.
🏡 Requirements due to Akita/Chow breed:
• Securely fenced yard
• Mandatory training — $400 group course with additional in-home sessions included
• Homes with same-sex resident dogs may not be approved
• Homeowner’s/renter’s insurance must be notified
• No young children; older, respectful, dog-savvy children may be considered
Ricotta has the brains, the personality, and SO much love to give. She’s growing up in foster care, and we would love to see her find her forever family. 🥹🩵
