✨ Meet Sweetie Pie — the happiest little shadow you could ask for ✨

Sweetie Pie is estimated to be 5–7 years old, but she definitely didn’t get the memo. This girl still has plenty of love, curiosity, and personality to fill your days! 💕

Sweetie Pie came to Wisconsin after being rescued from an abuse and neglect case in Georgia and finally got her second chance with a freedom flight north.

Despite everything she’s been through, she has never met a human she didn’t love and wins over strangers instantly. Last weekend at Home Depot, she sat perfectly while people stopped to admire her, gently taking treats from everyone who walked by like the polite little celebrity she is.

One important thing to know about Sweetie Pie: she needs to be the only pet in the home. We know that can feel like a unicorn ask these days — pets are like potato chips and most animal lovers can’t stop at one! While she absolutely adores people, she’s happiest and most successful without other animals in the home. We know that narrows the search, but we’re committed to finding the right forever fit where she can truly thrive.

Her foster mom isn’t sure she was ever truly house trained before rescue, but it turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks! Sweetie Pie is learning quickly and trying SO hard. She’s already making huge progress with consistency and a good schedule and just needs someone willing to give her grace as she continues figuring it out.
