Frankie is a 7-year-old Lab mix with a gentle soul who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly relax and feel safe. While she may seem shy or nervous when first meeting new people, underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet and loving dog just waiting to build trust and form a close bond with her people. Frankie would thrive in a quieter home environment with a patient family willing to give her the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace. Once she begins to feel comfortable, her personality slowly starts to shine through, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch her open up and let her guard down. Because of her sensitive nature, Frankie is looking for a home with children ages 16 and older who can respect her boundaries and help create a calm atmosphere for her to feel secure. She is also open to meeting other pets to see if they could be a good match. At 7 years old, Frankie has moved beyond the high-energy puppy stage and would likely enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle filled with cozy naps, peaceful walks, quiet companionship, and plenty of love.
