Indy is a beautiful 2-year-old pit bull mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give. When she first arrived, she was very nervous and reserved, but thanks to time, patience, and care from staff, Indy has made incredible progress and continues to blossom every day. She can still be a little shy when meeting new people, but once you’ve earned her trust, Indy becomes the ultimate best friend. Her favorite place in the world? Right in your lap! Personal space isn’t really her thing, she’s more than happy to shower you with kisses and soak up all the affection she can get. Indy has previously lived with another dog and is open to meeting other pets. Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a home with kids 14+ who can respect her need for a calm and predictable environment. Indy is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to fully decompress and feel safe. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving companion who will be by your side through it all.
