Kylo is the ultimate rockstar! Cool, calm, collected, and confident, this large boy has the temperament all dog owners dream of. This "little" prince came to Great Plains Mastiff Rescue because his previous owners moved, and their new home didn't have an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately, Kylo spent all 5 years of his life as an outside dog, but he has fully embraced the perks of indoor living. All he wants is a soft place near his people to snooze happily. Kylo's favorite things: people, people, and more people! He LOVES attention and wants to meet and play with everyone. So far, Kylo has not been reactive around other dogs and wants to say hi and make new friends. He is very interested in cats but has not yet been tested around them. Because of his previous concrete, outdoor lifestyle, Kylo has some major calluses that need to be kept dry and clean. He is also allergic to chicken, and his diet cannot include chicken, chicken byproducts, or chicken protein. Kylo is scheduled to be neutered in late June. He is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing the antibiotic phase of treatment. His adopting family will need to continue the remainder of his heartworm treatment with an approved veterinarian after adoption. Kylo is being fostered in Houston, TX.
