Meet seamus
Seamus is a very sweet, anxious dog. He was diagnosed with hydrocephalus as a puppy. He also has a slightly prolapsed anus. He has a great deal of sensory sensitivities and does exhibit some fear-based aggression. He was my mother’s dog and did really well living with a single adult. My mother relocated and he has been living with my large family with three active kids, our Boston Terrier and our two cats. He has done fairly well, but when he gets triggered (by flowy skirts, quick movements, or exuberance) he will sometimes snap at the source. This had not happened for more than a year when he was with my mom. It has happened twice since he has been residing with my family over the past few months. He has adjusted well to our cats, but I would not trust him with them unsupervised. He does well in a crate for overnights and usually a daytime nap. There is so much that we love about him, but this is not the right environment for him. We would love to find him a new forever home.
