Meet mina
Mina is an approximately 8-year-old Bluetick Coonhound who was adopted in September 2021. Since that time, there have been some major changes in her humans' lives and we are no longer capable of giving her the amount of time, attention, and exercise that she needs. Mina is a very stereotypical hound: Intensely curious, scent-driven, goofy, loud, and independent. She can be such a sweet cuddle-bug after a long day at the park or doggy day care, but can be a larger-than-life presence if she has some steam to blow off. While she loves other dogs, cats, and people, she becomes extremely leash-reactive on walks. She is also very afraid of large trucks/vans, and gets highly activated by things like deer, rabbits, and other wildlife. Her ideal situation is in a household that gives her lots of outdoors time. An experienced dog owner--particularly one that knows scent hounds well--is best. No fee, but I will be extremely selective. Will provide her crate, toys, bed, vet records, and meds.
