Meet momo
Through no fault of his own, Momo needs a new home. Momo came to us as a four-month-old puppy in 2021. He is a true family dog who gives his whole heart to the people he loves. He is fully housebroken, walks well on leash, and has thrived in doggy daycare. Momo is also a sensitive soul. He has anxiety that has increased as he has aged. Momo’s anxiety expresses when he is alone, and when unfamiliar people come into the home, particularly unfamiliar men. He is protective and managing these instincts requires a calm and steady person. Overall Momo does best when a confident adult is present to help him feel secure. Momo is best suited for an adult-only home, or one with older teenagers who are comfortable and experienced with dogs.Momo can be home alone, but after about 30 minutes he goes on high alert when left by himself, sometimes howling when something startles him. In the right environment: somewhere quieter, more spacious, and with people who understand him, he will thrive.
