Meet Moggs, a young adult (approx. 3 years old) spayed female English Bulldog, weighing about 50 lbs!  Moggs is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 5/30. We are accepting applications on her now! She will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT on 6/14.

Her fosters said, "Moggs is good with dogs and older kids. She has an even temperament and is better with older kids because she can jump around when excited. She is crate trained and house broken. Moggs is not good with cats." And "Sleeping and snoring the boring work meetings away ……..lol. Moggs is super chill She is a shadow dog, loves to follow me around everywhere. She is always down to play or go for a walk outside though!"

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
