Kiwi is the perfect mix of brains, sweetness, and fun! This smart cookie is as sweet as the fruit she’s named after, and she’s looking for a home ready to keep both her mind and body active.

Kiwi’s foster describes her as “very sweet and loving,” sharing that she’s generally calm around the house but still has a playful side. Her energy level is nicely balanced—she enjoys the occasional burst of zoomies just as much as curling up beside her people. When it comes to affection, Kiwi doesn’t hold back! She loves being close to her humans and has the cutest ways of asking for attention—gently placing a paw on you while being pet, wrapping both paws around your arm if you stop, or even slithering across the floor like a little snake just to cuddle up beside you.

One of Kiwi’s favorite hobbies? Bird watching! This inquisitive girl could spend hours perched in the park or on the porch, completely captivated by the birds and squirrels around her (though she may try to chase them if they get close enough).

Kiwi is mostly house-trained, though she’s still working on feeling comfortable being left home alone and may have a few transitional accidents as she adjusts to a new routine. Luckily, Kiwi is incredibly food motivated and loves to learn, making her a dream companion for someone who enjoys training and enrichment. She already knows “sit,” “down,” and will happily offer a paw—and she’d love to keep adding new tricks to her repertoire!

With patience, consistency, and continued positive reinforcement, Kiwi has so much potential to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion.
