Hi! I'm Jackson!

If I had to describe myself in three words, they'd be: playful, cuddly, and snack-powered.

My favorite place in the whole world is wherever my people are. Want to go for a walk? I'm in! Running errands? I LOVE car rides. Hanging out on the couch? Perfect. Bedtime? I'll happily curl up next to you and call it the best day ever.

I'm still a puppy, so everything feels like an adventure! Sometimes new places or new experiences can seem a little overwhelming at first. I’m trying to work on my confidence, I might take a minute to figure things out, but once I know I'm safe, my goofy, happy personality comes shining through.

Did someone say treats? Those are basically my love language. I've already learned "sit," “shake”, “down” and I'm doing a really great job with potty training and have had no accidents. If treats are involved, I'm always excited to learn something new!

I love toys, walks, snacks (all the snacks, please), and spending time with my favorite humans. I also do well with cats!

I'm still figuring out this whole "other dogs" thing—they can make me a little nervous. With time, patience, and lots of encouragement, I'm learning to be more confident every day! I live with my foster moms dog and she is very nice but I’m just not ready to play with her yet.

What I'm really looking for is someone who understands that I'm still growing up. Give me a little patience, a handful of treats, and lots of love, and I'll give you my whole heart. I'll be your co-pilot on every car ride, your walking buddy, your biggest fan, and your favorite little snuggle bug at the end of every day.

I can't wait to meet my forever family. Maybe it's you?

Jackson is estimated to be 8.5 months old and 24 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
