Meet douglas
Douglas is a very sweet 2 year old bernedoodle who enjoys hanging out with his people and playing at the dog park. He can be standoffish when first meeting people, but he is very well socialized with other dogs and has never bitten or been aggressive. Most of his time is spent napping, but he really enjoys attention and doing verbal commands or training. Douglas has had some anxiety since we got him as a puppy, which we were able to successfully manage with fluoxetine and time walking outside or at the dog park. We have been very reluctant to rehome him, because he is a great boy. However, not long after we found out that my wife was pregnant, Douglas' anxiety has made walking him outside while leashed nearly impossible due to increased anxiety. He is just fine inside, and we have been informed that he doesn't have the same level of anxiety at doggy daycare. We think Douglas would do well having either a backyard, or a full time furry pal to keep him company, ideally both.
