This gorgeous 6-year-old Schnauzer just got her glow-up 💁‍♀️✂️ and she knows she’s pretty! At 20 lbs, she’s the perfect little companion—spayed, heartworm negative, healthy, and ready for her forever home.

Stella adores people (kids included!) and would do best as your one-and-only—no cats, just her and her humans ❤️ She’s house-trained and happiest right by your side.

💔 Stella spent far too much of her life confined to a crate… so we made her a promise: no more crates, ever. She deserves freedom, soft beds, and to be part of the family—not shut away.

Her family trusted us to find her something better… and we will. Could that be you? 🐾

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
