Let me tell you about Bodacious Bo!!

Bo is an eight+ pound, ten+ month old Shih Poo looking for his new best friend! Isn't he adorable?! Anyone could fall in love with his cuteness! But since looks aren't everything, let's explore the world of Bo.

Bo has dry eye syndrome which requires topical medication, likely for his lifetime. (Note that he will need routine visits with his ophthalmologist for adjustments in dosage to support eye health.) Mostly, he cooperates for his meds, although he will occasionally rebel with growls and wiggles...but he is easily contained due to his small size. Also, his field of vision seems to be somewhat limited but his eyes do function.

Other than the occasional tantrums at medication time, he's mostly just a goofy, happy little guy with a quirky personality who plays one minute and naps the next. He really enjoys zoomies in the yard and expects participation! This might be a good time to mention he can be a trip hazard as he runs circles around mere mortals.

Now, it needs to be understood that Bo seems to be a bit behind on the learning curve. He knows his name, understands he should potty and poo outside, and loves kibble and treats. Occasionally he will have an accident inside but he is still a puppy.

He also loves to play with other small dogs but has no history with cats or kids. His ideal home might not have little kids as his behavior may be a little unpredictable as he matures. On the plus side, he is a very quiet fellow who does well alone in his pen, sometimes for several hours (and overnight).
Bo can be very sweet and lovable, but he needs to think cuddling was his idea in his own time. ☺️ Did we mention his very soft coat? (He will need professional grooming every couple of months or so.)
