Meet colt
Meet Colt!
Colt is an energetic dog who loves to play and run. He enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. Colt loves to snuggle and take naps on someone's lap. Colt loves to go on walks and run around outside! Colt can tug hard on the leash so an appropriate harness or a Weiss Walkie may be useful.
Colt has been around small children and does not do well. He has also been around cats and does not do well. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended when introducing new pets.
Colt is a high-energy working breed and would benefit from multiple types of enrichment. Going on regular walks, using puzzle toys, and teaching new tricks are all great ways to help your dog stay entertained. Ask TCHS staff for more ideas for enrichment!
*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.
**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
