Meet Velma, a 6 year old 55 pound petite Lab mix with a heart as big as her smile! This sweet girl is potty trained, enjoys all the treats, and loves lounging on the couch just as much as she loves her daily walks. She’s done great living with other large dogs and has shown patience and adaptability once given time to settle in. Velma would thrive in a calm home with a patient, experienced adopter—preferably without cats—and would do best with older, respectful kids. Crate trained: Yes Potty trained: Yes Health concerns: Has mild allergies, taking OTC Benadryl to help Current medications & estimated costs: OTC Benadryl Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation.
