Meet dottie may *hospice*

Meet Dottie May This very senior little lady may be just 4 lbs, but she still has so much love left to give. Dottie is looking for a special kind of home—one that understands she’s in her final chapter, but not ready to say goodbye just yet. She has a significant heart murmur, is blind, and has little to no hearing. But what she does have is a gentle spirit and a whole lot of love. All she’s asking for is a soft dog bed, kind and patient hands, and someone who will let her spend the rest of her days feeling safe and cared for. Dottie doesn’t need much—just comfort, understanding, and a quiet place to rest. She deserves to know what it feels like to be truly loved in a home of her own. Note: Dottie does have a few mats in her fur, but they aren’t pulling, and we don’t want to cause her any stress trying to remove them. Do you have room in your heart and home for Dottie May? If so, we would love to hear from you.We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. June 13, 2026, 9:29 pm
