Meet kevin
We adopted Kevin in 2018 and were immediately won over by his expressive face and joyful, vibrantly playful demeanor. He’s been the best dog we’ve known ever since.He's a 25 lb terrier mix who came to MN from Oklahoma. His DNA shows a blend of herding breeds with poodle and guard-dog lineage—making him a watchful, athletic, and affectionate companion who loves attention.We are rehoming Kevin because his needs have grown beyond what we can safely meet. In the past year, he has escaped through unattended doors/gates three times—once resulting in injury after confronting another dog, and another involving a bite to a neighbor’s ankle. His bite history also includes our daughter when she began walking.Despite helpful interventions we've implemented (anxiety meds and in-home training), we're not able to meet his needs and give him a high quality of life. He is a sincerely wonderful, playful, comforting companion who we know will make someone very happy.
