Meet Tahri (ACCT-A-246823), a wiggly, sweet girl who is ready to bring a whole lot of joy into your life!
Tahri is a fantastic companion who truly loves to connect with her people. When she gets excited to see you, she’ll perform her signature "happy hop"—a little jump off the ground that shows just how thrilled she is to be in your company. She is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than leaning into a good back rub or wiggling uncontrollably for some quality butt scratches.
Out on walks, Tahri is a dream. She is very in tune with her handler, walks nicely on the leash, and is always ready for an adventure. She’s also a clever girl who is quite treat-motivated, making her a joy to work with during training or playtime. Because Tahri thrives when she has a calm, structured environment, she would do best in an adult-only home (or one with older children 15 and up). She is looking for an experienced adopter who is comfortable with larger dogs and is ready to provide the guidance and love this sweet girl deserves.

Additional Notes:
Per staff 4/16: Took Tahri out for some fun in the sun today. We went to the play yards where she ran around and played with toys, she also was super snuggly and when I got on the ground with her she sat in my lap, she totally thinks she's a lap dog. She was super wiggly, loose and soft the entire time. When she saw a dog from afar or in the other yard she would hop around and play bow. I just love her.
04/12/2026:
Greeted me with a loose and wiggly body at the front of her kennel and then easily allowed me to leash her. She actually walks really well on leash without pulling and is in tune with her handlers leash pressure. When we got to the play yard, she had very loose body language and was soliciting attention from me. Seemed somewhat interested in toys, but didn’t actively chase them too much. She did meet a few dogs through the fence. Very fast moving tail, and some play bows then some hard barking at them through the fence. Takes treats very gently out of my hand and seems pretty treat motivated. No issues going back into her kennel.

Per Staff Easy to leash, came right to the front. Pulled Mildly Yes, I handled the dog. She leaned into me while I gave her pets on her back, also got really wiggly for butt scratches Walked right into kennel and unleashed without issue She is an angel, when excited or wants pets she will jump off the ground but did not jump on me, she is a wiggly, sweet lady. Her eyes were soft, ears and body relaxed. When meeting another dog, we started in the pen, and she was barking but it felt more like she was frustrated with the barrier than anything. As soon as we left the pen she greeted dog nicely and was playful/polite

Dog Meet: Barking at the fence with soft eyes, ears forward and mid tail wagging. On leash meet she pulled mildly towards the other dog, loose, wiggly body and playbowing. Took appropriate breaks.
04/05/2026:
Hard barking at the front of her kennel with wide eyes and a fast wagging mid level tail. Started low growling when I got closer. Tossed in some treats which she ate then returned to hard barking.
