Penelope (approximately 58 pounds), her siblings Dozer & Riley, and their mama Crystal were all transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. Penelope is a total lovebug - this lady is certain that she is a lap dog, so hopefully your lap will be able to accommodate her! Our girl is social, friendly, and always ready to make a new friend, especially if they have snacks or if they want to pet her. Penelope gets along very well with the other dogs in her family, and she has enjoyed playing with other dogs in doggie play groups. But to be totally honest, Penelope is a good ole-fashioned people dog - she likes other dogs, but she ADORES human beings. Her life dream would be to be a companion to a person or family who wants to spend lots of time hanging out with her, cuddling, and/or doing fun activities.
