After a slow start, she now greets her human with excitement in the mornings and when they come home—her quiet way of saying, “I missed you.” About Lulu Belle:* Affectionate on her terms—will gently place her paw on you to ask for more pets* Fully house-trained and thrives in a structured routine* Sleeps comfortably in her kennel and enjoys having her own safe space* Eats twice daily and has never met a treat she didn’t love* Starting to enjoy playtime (especially chasing a ball!)Lulu has the most soulful eyes—once worried, now soft and full of trust. She loves being outdoors, “hunting” for little critters and exploring the yard. She is a digger, but she responds well when redirected. Personality & Needs: Lulu had a rough start in life, so she can be cautious with new people, sudden movements, and touch. She’ll bark at first when meeting someone new, but if given space, she’ll approach when she feels safe. Once she trusts you, she becomes your quiet shadow—curling up beside you for TV time, reading, or naps. She enjoys gentle pets along her back and head but prefers to avoid sensitive areas like her ears or tail. With trust, she may even offer her belly for rubs. Training & Behavior:* Loves walks but will need continued leash training (she pulls with enthusiasm!)* Does okay with other dogs but prefers her space; should be monitored during feeding/treat time* Very curious about cats and may chase—best in a cat-free home* Sensitive to loud noises like vacuums and broomsIdeal Home: Lulu Belle would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands shy or sensitive dogs.
