Meet stella
Stella is a 40 lb Husky/American Staffordshire Terrier/Beagle mix who will be 7 years old in August. She’s an active girl who loves spending time outdoors and has plenty of energy to share. Stella is great with kids and tends to be gentle and even a bit submissive around other dogs.
She’s food-motivated and knows her basic commands, which makes training and bonding with her enjoyable. Stella can be nervous around humans she doesn’t know, but warms up quickly. Stella loves nothing more than cuddling up with her humans. She’s especially sweet and gentle with small children and babies.
Stella does experience anxiety and would do best in a home with someone who understands or is willing to learn about supporting an anxious dog. She has had some big life changes that have caused a bit of regression, including occasional accidents in the house, though she has been house trained. With patience, consistency, and a loving environment, she has every potential to get back on track.
