Meet copper
Copper is a wiggly, happy-go-lucky young pup who brings sunshine wherever he goes! This cheerful boy absolutely loves meeting new people and is always ready to make a new best friend. Copper has been hanging out at the shelter since mid-February, so he’ll need a little time, patience, and guidance as he settles into his new home—but he’s already off to a great start. He appears to be mostly potty trained and knows cues like sit, down, and drop it. He walks nicely on leash overall, though his excitement can sometimes take over (there’s just so much to see!), but he’s easily redirected and eager to learn. This smart boy enjoys staying busy and would love a home that can keep both his body and brain active. He’s been friendly with other dogs and has enjoyed playtime with his shelter buddy Ruger, though he can be a bit possessive with toys at times. With some thoughtful management and continued guidance, we know he can do great! Copper is the perfect mix of fun and affection—ready for adventures, playtime, and plenty of snuggles at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a joyful, loving companion to grow with, Copper might just be your guy!
