Meet walker
Walker, a five-year-old male weighing 75 lbs., is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!
Here’s what we know so far about his time in foster care: https://bestfriends.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/GRP_NYC_Foster/IQAJCmjJSo-pSJcOarl3Ic9KAQrODYqvWor0UrFoeHlfjuA?e=ffbvGk
His fosters say they love "The way he has to rest his chin on your knee or shoulder or any part of me because he just wants to be close and show humans love." "Walker has become much more comfortable and confident over the past few months. When I first met him, he was shy and a little reserved, and he definitely had a bit of a “play hard to get” personality. It took him some time to trust people and show his full personality. He tends to choose one person as his primary support person and can be slower to warm up to others, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. Over time, I’ve seen much more of his goofy, cuddly personality come out, and he has become noticeably more comfortable in the home and with the people around him. Walker is a huge, sweet, goofy cuddlebug. Once he trusts you, he loves being close to his person and will happily lean against you, put his head on you, or give you a sweet little kiss.".
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his next steps.
Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call.
Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved.
