Meet Boogie

Boogie is the definition of a second chance done right. This handsome guy was rescued just in time—the night before his life was set to end—after being left behind when his family moved away, forcing him and his doggy siblings to survive alone in a garage. Despite everything he’s been through, Boogie’s spirit is nothing short of amazing.

At around 6 years old and 60 lbs, Boogie is a total sweetheart with a calm, easygoing personality. He’s a “happy-go-lucky” kind of guy who takes life in stride and just enjoys being near his people. With low to medium energy, he’s the perfect balance—happy to join you for a walk or lounge around for a cozy evening at home.

Boogie is already potty trained and a fantastic listener, which makes him a breeze to have in the home. He knows basic commands like sit and shake, and with his eagerness to please, he’ll pick up anything new quickly.

He’s also a social guy—Boogie does great with other dogs and has done well with school-aged children, making him a wonderful addition to a variety of home environments.

Since leaving the shelter, Boogie has been thriving—he’s gaining healthy weight and his skin is improving every day with proper care and good nutrition. It’s clear he just needed someone to show him what love and consistency look like.

Foster Needed: Because we were up against the clock to save his life, Boogie is currently in a local boarding facility. While he’s safe, what he really needs is a home—somewhere he can decompress, feel comfortable, and show his true personality. He would thrive in a foster home while he waits for his forever family.

Now, Boogie is ready for his next chapter—a foster or forever home that will cherish him, keep him safe, and never let him be forgotten again. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, companionship, and the kind of unconditional love only a dog like Boogie can offer.
