Sleeping: Sleeps indoors on a dog bed and prefers being close to people.

Ideal Home

Nugget is more than just a pet—he’s a devoted companion ready to fill your home with love, joy, and warmth. Because he values companionship so deeply, his ideal home is one where he isn’t left alone for long periods. A homebody adopter, remote worker, or family with another friendly dog would be a wonderful match.

Adopting Nugget means gaining a loyal best friend who will love you unconditionally every single day.

Rescue Story

Nugget’s rescue story is one of patience, kindness, and perfect timing. He was first spotted near a health clinic, following a man and a young girl who believed he belonged to someone else. When it became clear he was alone, Nugget disappeared into the crowd.

Days later, his rescuer spotted him again in the same area. This time, she approached slowly, offering food and patience. Trust was built, and that moment marked the beginning of Nugget’s journey to safety. Over the past month, he has learned what love, consistency, and care feel like—and now he’s ready for a forever home of his own.
