Nugget is a spunky, vibrant little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s intelligent, affectionate, and incredibly companionable. Nugget loves being involved in everyday life — whether that’s joining you for walks, supervising household chores, or relaxing nearby while you unwind.

He happily greets new people and bonds closely with his family. Like many small breeds, he’s naturally alert and attentive to outside sounds, but his favorite thing is simply being near his people.

Rescue Story

Nugget’s rescue story is one of patience, kindness, and perfect timing.

He was first spotted near a health clinic, following a man and young girl who assumed he belonged to someone else. When they entered the building and he wasn’t allowed inside, it became clear he was alone. He disappeared into the crowd.

Days later, his rescuer saw him again in the same area. This time, she approached gently with food and patience. Trust was quickly built, and that moment marked the beginning of Nugget’s journey to safety.

Over the past months, he has experienced love, stability, and care — and now he’s ready for a forever home to continue that journey.
