The sweetest little blinky-eyed, short-snort, spotted dog is looking for a forever home.
Remi is a 7-year-old, ~35 lb, Australian Shepherd mix with a loving, eager-to-please nature and all the typical silliness that comes with her breed.
She’s happiest by her favorite human’s side—and wiggles so deeply from booty scratches that she can nearly knock you over. She has a natural instinct to watch over her home (and has in fact, chased off a black bear.) Remi has completed one-on-one obedience training, is spayed, and in excellent health.
Like many herding breeds, Remi requires daily physical activity and mental stimulation to ease anxiety—walks, ball-throwin, or simple “jobs” help her feel balanced and secure.
Ideal Caretaker:
Someone patient and attentive who understands herding breeds and is willing to provide structure. The caretaker would be home most of the time or have the ability to take Remi on adventures with them daily.
