Rolo has had extensive professional training through the Dog Retreat Center, including:
• Leash walking
• Off leash hiking
• E collar training
• Obedience foundations
He’s a fantastic student — motivated, engaged, and proud when he gets it right. The Dog Retreat Center even offers two free training sessions to his new adopter and is happy to vouch for what a special dog he is.

Rolo thrives when expectations are clear and consistent. He’ll do best with someone who:
• Has a predictable routine
• Can provide structure and confident leadership
• Understands (or is willing to learn about) resource guarding, he may resource guard, especially his favorite person, and mostly when bored
• Does not have small children in the home
• Does not have cats (he hasn’t hurt one, but he does chase)

• Someone who enjoys training and mental stimulation
• A home that can keep boredom at bay
