These days I’m embracing my golden girl era and living life at a slower, cozier pace. Most of my day is spent perfecting the art of napping and keeping a close eye on the treat supply. Toys? Not really my thing. I’d much rather find the comfiest spot in the house and snooze the afternoon away. I’m not a big cuddler, but I will happily waddle over for some gentle scratches and a little attention. As a distinguished older lady, I do have a few senior quirks. I have arthritis, Cushing’s, and my hearing isn’t what it used to be. If you need to get my attention, just give me a friendly wave in front of my face and I’ll be right with you. Because of my age, I do occasionally have accidents in the house, but I am mostly potty pad trained and do well when I have them available. I’ll just need a patient and understanding home that knows older pups sometimes need a little extra grace. Even though I’m dog-friendly, I would absolutely love to be the only dog in the home so I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. I also do just fine with cats because I don’t mind them whatsoever and am happy to let them do their own thing. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
