Buster has been waiting several months for his forever home and we honestly cannot understand why!
This sweet, steady boy has already completed an obedience training program, and his adoption comes with complimentary lifetime trainer support to help set him and his future family up for success.
Buster knows heel and place commands, waits for the "free" command before starting his meals, walks beautifully on leash, and is both house trained and crate trained. He is quiet, calm indoors, affectionate, and incredibly easy to have around. He is a couch potato at heart and loves cuddling with you while you watch tv.
He would do well in a home that is calm, stable and relaxed. He's equally content playing by himself in a yard or lazing around indoors with his people. We love going on evening strolls with him!
He is also an independent player, so he does not need constant attention to be content. Give him a yard, a toy, a good walk, and someone to love, and Buster is happy.
Buster plays well with calm dogs who match his energy, and he is very food motivated, which makes training with him a breeze. He is a people pleaser who enjoys learning, working, and being told he’s doing a good job. He takes treats gently and allows food, treats, and toys to be taken from his mouth without issue.
On walks, Buster may notice squirrels and bunnies, but he does not yank, strain, bolt, or drag you toward them. He is a great walking partner who does so with manners.
Buster is trained, respectful, and so ready to be someone’s loyal companion. He exudes old soul energy and is the type of dog who makes you feel safe being out and about when daylight's gone.
