Where do we even begin? Tux is hands down the sweetest boy with no mean bone in his body. This handsome pup was surrendered to the shelter by his owners who decided they had no time for him. You may think that means he's disobedient or problematic but we seriously can't find anything "wrong" with him.

Tux waited for a year at a shelter in Eastern WA and has waited for about 5 months in our care for someone to give him his furrytale ending. We can’t quite understand how he’s still here.

Tux is the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into your life. He’s housetrained, crate trained, and has a wonderful balance of playful energy and calm affection. He loves a good romp when it’s time to play, but he’s just as happy heading out for a walk or cuddling in your lap while you watch tv. Wherever you go, whatever you're in the mood for, Tux is ready! He truly is the ultimate go-anywhere, do-anything companion.

He’s intelligent and food-motivated, which makes him not only fun to train but also eager to learn and please. And when the day winds down, Tux’s favorite place to be is curled up next to you, receiving all your love and giving you all of his!

He gets along beautifully with all the dogs and all the humans, regardless of age. He is gentle in nature, will nuzzle you for pets, takes treats gently and you can remove food or toys from his mouth with zero concern.Tux is easygoing and super lovable!

Tux has been waiting long enough. He’s ready for his person, his routine, his home. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep up with your adventures and then snuggle in close at the end of the day, Tux is your guy.
