Meet ginger
Ginger is an 11-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier (possibly mixed with something, we were never told for sure). She is current on vaccines (she has a monthly allergy shot, Cytopoint), spayed, house-trained, and fun-loving!
Ginger loves tug-of-war, chasing balls (though she isn't the best at giving them back to be thrown again), and running around the yard. She loves people and pets, but does not get along well with other animals.
Ginger was rescued from Texas after Hurricane Harvey in 2017, after having been found wandering around in the aftermath, so it is believed she has PTSD from that and has been known to attack other animals (dogs, cats, etc.). That being said, she absolutely loves people and will always want attention and pets (even if she is quite drooly).
Ginger is trained with "sit", "lay down", "out" (of the kitchen when food is being cooked), and "bed", and she absolutely loves human food.
Ginger is a good dog, but definitely needs a firm hand sometimes.
