Harry is a 3-year-old, 12-lb American Hairless Terrier with a heart as big as his personality. This silly, sweet boy was found as a stray with no microchip or ID and was never reclaimed from animal control. Now he’s ready for a forever home where he can finally settle in and be loved the way he deserves.

Harry truly loves everyone. He can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly, and once he does, he won’t want to leave your side. He is pretty active and playful. He loves to carry toys around and chase after them. He is very food motivated and knows to go into his crate for feeding time (his foster mom feeds all dogs in their crates).

He walks fairly well on a leash and gets along with both dogs and cats. He can be possessive of his person's lap, though, so if he goes into a home with another dog, they need to be one who understands this/doesn't react.

Because Harry can get mouthy when he’s excited and playful, we don’t think he’d be a good fit for a home with young children. We are actively working on teaching him gentler play, and he’s making progress, but an adult or older-teen household would be best.

He is crate-trained and working on house-training.
