Our shelter is open by appointment only due to on-going construction so you must submit the form and be pre-approved to adopt to schedule an appointment. All dogs/puppies are sterilized, vaccinated, 6 months and over are heartworm tested, examined and microchipped. The shelter also deworms biweekly and provides flea and heartworm medication monthly while the animals are in our care. .
Star is a miniature GSD that was surrendered by her owner. She is 30lbs but could gain another 5 lbs or so to be at her ideal weight. Start is a sweet girl who spent most of her time in an outdoor kennel so she will need someone with time and patience to housetrain her. Star knows sit and shake so she's smart and very food motivated. She is spayed, utd on shots, microchipped, but she is heartworm positive. We can provide a Proheart 12 injection if she's adopted for an additional $100.00 which will give her a year of heartworm protection.
