Timber — The Big Goofy Lab Who Just Wants to Play
Meet Timber, an 8-month-old black Lab/mix (born June 13, 2025) who is already 70–75 pounds of classic Lab love. This handsome boy is available Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) and is ready to find an active family to grow up with.
Timber is a young, active Lab who loves to play. Fetch, tug-of-war, swimming, and backyard zoomies are some of his favorite activities, and if there’s a ball involved he’s all in. He’s also very smart and highly food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Timber already knows sit, down, and come and is eager to learn more.
With his family, Timber is incredibly affectionate and loyal. He’s currently living with children and is gentle and loving with them, though his playful puppy enthusiasm can occasionally knock them over during zoomies — followed immediately by plenty of apology kisses.
Timber walks nicely on leash, loves car rides, and thrives when he’s included in family activities. Like many young Labs, he’s happiest when he gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and interaction with his people.
