When I first arrived at my foster home, I was terrified. I hid under tables and was too scared to eat much. Now, I eat all my meals, know basic commands, love a good game of fetch, and trust my humans completely.
My Favorite Things
Once I get to know you, I am a total love bug. Here is what I love to do:
Soak up belly rubs and head scratches.
Follow you from room to room just to stay close.
Snooze nearby while you work or relax.
Enjoy walks, sniff around the yard, play fetch, and wade in my baby pool.
My Skills and Kid Appeal
I am a smart girl and very food-motivated, which means I learn fast with treats and praise. I already know how to sit, come, and walk on command.
I also do wonderful with young kids. I stay calm and gentle even when toddlers make noise or move around quickly, so I make a very peaceful housemate.
What I'm Looking For
My main hurdle is facing the big world outside my comfort zone. New places, strange sights, and sudden noises can still scare me. I need a gentle, patient family ready to guide me through new experiences very slowly.
