Meet chief
Chief is a 3-year-old, 63-pound Lab mix with one goal in life: to be as close to his people as possible. He is the ultimate Velcro dog — following you from room to room, leaning into you for hugs, and fully convinced he belongs in your lap. Pulled as a stray and now thriving in foster care, Chief has shown himself to be incredibly sweet, loyal, and people-focused. He may not care much about toys or treats, but he cares deeply about you.
He enjoys his daily walks (at a relaxed pace… unless a squirrel makes an appearance), loves yard time, and then happily settles in to relax near his humans. Loud noises and sudden movements can make him a bit nervous, but he’s improving every day with reassurance and consistency. What he truly needs is a home where he won’t have to spend long hours alone — his heart is happiest when he’s with his people.

Dog friendly (best with playful/confident dog or as an only dog)
No cats – strong prey drive
Best with kids 8+ (great with teens)
House & crate trained
Medium energy – 2 daily walks + yard time
