It's Wallace!
Wallace is a good natured, charming, and gentle old dog who has come a long way since he first came to us. He was brought in as a stray, severely matted, dirty, and neglected but has spent the last few months learning what it is to be loved, spoiled, and truly cared for by his foster. Wallace is a little nervous of new people and might play at being aloof at first, but he is tolerant even when nervous and endlessly gentle. If you give Wallace a chance and a little bit of patience, you'll earn his love and his loyalty and all that comes with it. Wallace has lived with other dogs before with no issues at all, though he would likely prefer friends that match his laid-back energy levels. Before going to foster care, he has no experience walking on leash or with house training, but he has made progress with consistent routine. He does need to be let outside every few hours to keep him on track, but otherwise Wallace does well in the home.

Wallace will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. He does have dental disease and will need cleaning and extractions within 6 months of adoption, but PARL will provide a dental voucher that covers $300 of this procedure. He has no experience with cats but would likely do well with a slow introduction. Due to being a chill older guy, he would prefer a home with teens and up - the young ones might be a little too overwhelming for him.
