Meet rory
Rory is a tripod (rear left leg amputated before I got her) but you would never know it. She is energetic with no shortage of stamina.
She is genuinely friendly and warm with all humans. She loves playing, learning, and cuddling. She is convinced she is a lap dog even at 40lbs. She is extremely food motivated.
She is reactive to people with and without dogs walking past outside, even animals on TV, and her response is intense. It has caused some conflict with my two small senior dogs (non-violent and only when she has been already been triggered). Otherwise she coexists peacefully with them.
I have a physical disability that limits my mobility and I am simply not the right fit for her. Rory needs to be the center of someone’s world as a single-dog or at least a dog-savvy household with someone active who can give her the long walks, outdoor adventures, and focused attention she is wired for. She has so much to give the right person.
