Help me rehome this pitbull!
We found him dragging an 8ft chain on I35N just north of I20 in Dallas.
All shelters are full. We have 5 rescued pets ourselves, so we can’t manage another!
He seems healthy. His stool is a bit loose, but that might be from stress. He’s not neutered. When I bathed him I noticed some scabbing or just healing areas on his body. Some look like injuries, others maybe from itching/biting. He smelled like a rotting corpse, but the bath solved that problem!
Temperamentally, he came straight to my daughter, rode well in the car, was unbothered by a bath/blow dryer, and is very content to retreat to a large crate with blankets. He has not had any accidents in the kennel or house so far. He’s very friendly. He seems unreactive to the sight of our dogs and their barking.
