Hubba hubba, and fall in love with Bubba! Bubba is a young, sweet, and endlessly entertaining guy with a big personality, and an even bigger heart. Equal parts cuddle bug, comedian, and adventure buddy, he's the kind of dog who can make you laugh and love him more each day without even trying.

According to his foster, Bubba is "a baby in a big guy's body" who is eager to learn and become the best version of himself. He has truly never met a stranger and seems convinced that every person he encounters is a potential new best friend. In fact, his foster says they've never been stopped so often on walks by people commenting on how adorable he is, inside and out!

When Bubba isn't charming everyone he meets, he's usually busy with one of his favorite hobbies: playtime, and lots of it. He also loves puzzle feeders, car rides (especially from the front passenger seat), and spending quality time curled up right next to his people.

One of his sweetest quirks is his love of "watching his programs"—sitting by the window for long stretches, happily observing the world go by. Whether it's neighbors, birds, or passing cars, Bubba finds endless joy in the simple things.

Like many young dogs, Bubba has had his share of puppy-like shenanigans since he can be curious, and sometimes have trouble controlling his enthusiasm. However, he has made tremendous progress in foster care and continues to improve every day. He's also already house trained and does very well free-roaming at home. With continued structure, management, and positive reinforcement training, Bubba is ready to continue being his very good boy self!

Bubba is also looking for a special adopter who can help him navigate a congenital heart defect that was discovered after he arrived at PAWS. While he remains bright, happy, and so full of life, Bubba's condition may affect his long-term prognosis. So in addition to maintaining a relationship with a full-service veterinarian, his future family will need to monitor his breathing, avoid intense exercise, and continue his special diet to keep his tummy happy.

While Bubba may have some special needs, especially for a guy his age, he continues to be resilient, affectionate, hilarious, and full of love. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who will constantly keep you smiling, while also reminding you to appreciate the little things in life, Bubba might just be your perfect match!
