Julius is an energetic and playful boy who loves to explore and have fun. He enjoys playing with toys, especially balls ⚽and stuffies, and he's not afraid to jump in a baby pool, even when it's chilly out! 🏊‍♀️
Julius is eager to please and loves attention. He'll lean into your pets and respond to your sweet talk. He can get a little excited, so he'll need an owner who can match his energy and provide him with regular exercise and enrichment to keep him happy and healthy.
He's had positive interactions with some other dogs. If you have another dog, bring them along for a meet and greet!

steerable with water. 3/5 steerable with shake can. Ears to the side, high tail and bouncy play bows at the fence greeting. Ran into the yard, he's on greetings with other dogs. Loose bouncy play, however lacks reciprocation from other dogs.

Kennel Presentation: Soft eyes, loose body. Close to kennel door. As I tried to open, Julius would try to push out- excited to get outside! Would paw at my leash which made it difficult to remove him. Allowed me to stick my hand in kennel and lasso.Leash Skills: Pulls hard forward- like to walk at a brisk pace.Sociability: Leaned into pets. Would respond to smooch sounds or high pitch noises. Would jump up and get excited at squeaks. Exciteable. Play: Picked up toys on his own in dog run- stuffies and a tennis ball. Brought ball over to me and dropped it. Got into the baby pool and splashed around ( its 45 degrees out haha). Towards the end of our time outside, Julius did take the leash from the ground and 'play' with is. I grabbed a rope toy and then I went to bring him in, he went for the leash once and then redirected to rope toy. No grabbing of the leash once we were walking though.Dog Interaction: NAReturn to Kennel: NA (grabbed for playgroup)Color Level: BlueRecommendations and considerations: Rope toy out of abundance of caution. High energy dog that needs regular exercise and enrichment.

Fixated on cats in surgery while waiting for meds to kick in. Whining and trying to climb over the table to get to them. No cats
