Meet Rusty 🧡🐾
This handsome boy is a tender-hearted sweetheart who just needs a little time to feel safe. Rusty can be reserved when meeting new people and prefers to move at his own pace — he’s not the type to rush into new situations, and he’d rather not be picked up until he truly knows and trusts you. But once you’ve earned that trust? His quiet, gentle affection absolutely melts your heart.
Rusty gets along well with other animals and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he’s given the space and reassurance to build his confidence. Watching him come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding — every small step forward feels like a big victory.
When Rusty first came to us, he was in rough shape and missing fur, but he’s been blossoming more each day. He’s well on his way to becoming the happy, healthy, and handsome boy he was always meant to be. With time, understanding, and lots of love, Rusty will reward his person with deep loyalty and a bond that’s truly special. 💛

Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
