Meet Biscuit!

Biscuit is an adorable little 4 year old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was surrendered after his owner fell on hard times and could no longer provide the care he deserves. Now Biscuit is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him furever.

This sweet boy is happiest when he’s with his people—whether that means cuddling on the couch, giving kisses, or just hanging out nearby soaking up attention. Biscuit is affectionate, loyal, and thrives on companionship.

One of Biscuit’s favorite things is zooming around the yard in happy little circles, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely burn off energy and enjoy his playful side. In the winter, he’s known for his hilarious love of eating snow, and he even grows a thick fluffy coat to stay cozy during the colder months!

Biscuit has lived successfully with other dogs and cats, and he has also been around dog-savvy children. He’s crate trained, has great house manners, and would transition nicely into a loving home environment.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
