Meet Nala!

Nala is a 19-lb Pug mix puppy with an irresistible face and a heart full of love. She’s still very much a puppy, complete with playful energy, curiosity, and endearing puppy mannerisms that make her impossible not to adore.

Nala is learning what it means to be a great house dog and is making nice progress with her house manners, especially when she has a consistent routine and clear guidance. She’s food motivated, eager to learn, and enjoys positive reinforcement as she figures out the world around her. Continued training will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.

She does well with other dogs, particularly those who are friendly and tolerant of puppy play, and would enjoy a canine buddy who can help show her the ropes. Like many puppies, she’s still learning about new things and situations and will benefit from gentle exposure and patience as she matures.

Nala’s size and adaptable nature make her a good fit for many living situations, as long as her family is committed to meeting her exercise, training, and social needs. She’s looking for a home that understands puppies take time, consistency, and love—and is ready to enjoy all the joy that comes with raising one.

Nala is searching for a family who will cherish her, guide her through puppyhood, and love her furever. In return, she promises cuddles, laughs, and a lifetime of companionship.

While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
