Meet Flop! 🐾

Flop is a lovable, goofy, and sweet-natured boy we estimate to be around 1 year old. We believe he’s a cattle dog x terrier mix, giving him a fun blend of intelligence, energy, and affection. Flop originally appeared as a stray on a gentleman’s property, and after several days of no one coming forward to claim him, he was brought to us. Because of this, we don’t know much about his life before rescue, but we can confidently say his future is looking bright.

Flop is an absolute sweetheart who truly doesn’t know a stranger. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a hopeful expression, always eager to make new friends and soak up attention. He enjoys being around people and seems happiest when he’s included in whatever is going on. While he’s very social, he’s still adjusting to life indoors and can be a little nervous in new environments. You may catch him belly-crawling through our lobby, which is both endearing and a sign that he’s still learning to feel safe and confident. With patience, reassurance, and routine, his confidence continues to improve every day.

He is very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes him a great candidate for training. Flop appears to know some basic commands and is quick to catch on, but he’s still a young dog who will benefit from consistent structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement. He would do best in a home that understands the importance of continued training, mental stimulation, and regular exercise to help him grow into the best version of himself.

Flop has all the makings of a wonderful companion — loyal, affectionate, playful, and full of potential. He’s ready for a family who will give him the stability, love, and guidance he deserves. In return, he promises plenty of tail wags, cuddles, and unconditional love.
