Meet betty
Betty is a five-year-old, 72-pound lab mix that turned up in a yard and sat there for days watching every car that passed, likely looking for her owner. A neighbor finally got her and put her in a kennel she had until the shelter could pick her up. Once Betty had done her time, we said that we would take her, but we had no room at the time, so the shelter had a foster that took her for us. Betty has turned out to be the most amazing dog. She has gotten along with all the other foster dogs, even the annoying puppies with no boundaries. She is great in the house and a wonderful companion.
