Melody is a lively, affectionate Beagle who came to us with Mikey and Melody. Her foster in Virginia says that she is a joy to have around as she gets comfortable with living in his home and with his Jack Russell. Melody enjoys her walks, does well on leash, and likes to nap in the sun. In a new setting, a structured routine is reassuring for her and will help her settle in. She does enjoy hanging out with another dog, but would be okay as an only dog wth an attentive owner. Melody likes attention and at times will seek petting and being held. She is largely housebroken if kept on a routine, and sleeps well through the night on her dog bed. Melody is about 6 yrs old and weighs about 23 lbs. Arriving in late February.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
